Welcome to Wednesday

So I’m helping out a friend with their petshop this month. Not fun. I don’t like spiders. The snakes and beardies and iguanas are cool but spiders, no. It’s all good though, I have my mobile internet although there’s no signal at the shop.

Anyway, I woke up thismorning with the words I heard somewhere reverberating through my head: “…most people they earn a living, they reaise a family and then they die!” Is that really okay? “earn a living”? Just make it? I suppose, if that’s what you’re into. I, on the other hand, want to live without the constant financial worry. The good thing about this is that you don’t need to be an engineer or an astronaut to achieve this. It certainly helps, but a fry cook could make his money work for him and, at the end of the day, retire comfortably. He might even be able to quit his job much sooner and make – making his money work for him – his sole source of income.

A while ago I dabbled in the world of Forex. It’s awesome. I, unfortunately, don’t have the time required to become really really good at it, but if you have a lot of time on your hands it’s defintely something you should look into. Be sure, however, if you enter this world, that you find a reputable company to work with and research them until you’re 100% sure. Also a lot of “experts” in the field reccomend doubling at least 3 “demo” accounts before using real money at all, just to be sure you know what you’re doing. babypips.com is a great resource for all your forex trading. (It’s down at the time of writing but I’m sure it’s just maintenance or something.)

All this said, whatever your dream is, remember to go out and chase it. You can’t sit on your ass every day in front of the T.V and expect to achieve something great. You can’t go clubbing getting drunk every night if you want to achieve something great. Relaxation is important, but so is balance. Go out and chase your dream. Just make sure you don’t forget to enjoy the journey. Take time every now and then to look around you, smell the roses and enjoy the fact that you’ve already come so far.

Look at where you were 5 years ago. Are you any closer to achieving your dream? If not, change something!
